APPENDIX 2. FOR PROPER USE OF
SPECTROPHOTOMETER
2.1 SOLVENT SELECTION
For selecting a solvent in the sample preparation, make sure that
the solvent satisfies following requirements:
Little absorption within the measurement wavelength range.
Not interactive with the solute.
Low volatility.
Table 2-1 shows the applicable wavelength ranges of organic
solvents widely used in common applications. (For details, refer to
