2.3.2 Signal Processing and Control System
Figure 2-6 shows the signal processing and control system. This
system can be controlled either from keyboard or by an external
personal computer. The optical signal converted to an electric
signal by the detector is amplified and undergoes A/D conversion,
after which it is log-converted by the software and becomes
absorbance data. The result of measurement appears on the
LCD and is printed out from the printer.
