In Pan & scan mode, the full height will be viewable.
°¥ The side portions of the original picture will be missing.
In Letter Box mode, the full width will be viewable.
°¥ The top and bottom zones vacant of picture will be band like.
°¥
The ratio o f an ordinary TV screen is 4:3(W:H) , and
that of wide TV or Hivisio n TV is 16:9. The rati o is
named 'ASPECT RATIO'.
°¥ Some DVDs do not correspond to Pan & Scan modes
or Letter Box mode.
Press the SETUP
button during a stop.
°¥ The setup menu will be displayed.
Select ' PLAYER SETUP'
with the
buttons.
Select 'VIDEO SETUP'
with the
buttons.
And then press the ENTER button.
Select the item to be setu p
with
the bu tton s and
then press the ENTER
b utton.
This is for presetting the picture format (a spect) on an o rdinary T V on which
wide screen DVD is t o be output.
