2.4 Connecting the Measurement Power
Source
To avoid electrical hazards and damage to the instrument, do not apply
voltage exceeding the rated maximum to the voltage input terminal.
Do not input voltage to the voltage input terminal before connecting mea-
surement cables and voltage output cables. Doing so may result in injury.
When the power is turned off, do not apply voltage to the voltage input terminals.
Doing so may damage the instrument.
Rear Panel

Confirm that the instrument is turned
off.

Connect the included voltage input
connector to the voltage input termi-
nal on the rear of the instrument.
Voltage input terminal
This insulation measuring instrument requires an external measurement power
source provided by the operator. HIOKI offers a recommended power source
(Model SM7860 series Power Source Unit).
