Introduction

Principle of leakage current measurement

The instrument is designed based on the

principle of electromagnetic induction. The

magnetic flux corresponding to the current

flowing through the conductor to be measured

is detected by a current transformer that

consists of a magnetic core and coil. The

current transformer generates the current

corresponding to the magnetic field (secondary

current). The detection resistor converts this

secondary current into the voltage to calculate

the value of the current flowing through the

conductor.
