Fine adjustment of the

depending on the position
of the front rail profile. On
the basis of the distance
between glider and guide
rail (1) (in the area of the
locking pieces), the basic
component is to be
mounted with the
corresponding distance
(see following page). When
tightening the screws, this
position is clamped.
Case 1:
Glider is placed too close to
the guide rail.
Possible problem: Front rail
profile does not move out of
the locking device.
Solution: Position the basic
component to 25 mm.
Case 2:
Glider is placed too far
away from the guide rail.
Possible problem: The front
rail profile does not move
into the locking device or
stops unintentionally.
Solution: Position the basic
component to 21 mm.
If the distance towards the
floor level (7) falls below the
minimum distance, the front
rail profile can not move out
of the locking device either.

Installation of the VENTUR SIDE
Adjusting the motor
If the unit is delivered with a motor drive, the end positions of the motor
are not pre-adjusted.
Therefore it is necessary to adjust the end position during the installation
on site.
Motors with electronic limit stops:
With these drives the adjustment of the end position is done via an
adjustment cable.
Radio motors:
With these drives the adjustment of the end position is done via the
corresponding transmitter.
End position adjustment for VENTUR SIDE
Bottom end position: Must be programmed as a fixed end position. The
lower switch off position should be approx. 20 mm before the end of the
guide rails at the bottom.
Top end position: Must be programmed as a fixed end position.
End position adjustment for VENTUR SIDE M
Bottom end position: Lower end position with automatic locking. In the
lower end position the unit makes a counter-motion, which serves for the
tensioning of the cover.
Top end position for ONYX: Top end position with torque shut-off. After a
few cycles, a reduced torque is automatically set.
Top end position for Somfy io: Must be programmed as a fixed end
position.
Information about the correct procedure to adjust the end positions or the
automatic locking of the motor is given in the enclosed operating
instructions for the motor.
Operating the automatic locking device without the automatic clamping
cycle of the drive (and for this reason reduced torque) can cause damage
to the locking system.

Troubleshooting VENTUR SIDE
The front rail profile does not move out of the locking device
(alternately locking on the right and left side).
Check, if both gliders of
the front rail profile are situated in the locking position. If it is locked on one
side only, lift the front rail profile slightly at the side that is not locked, and
move the unit towards the top again.
The front rail profile repeatedly does not move out of the locking
device.
If the above-mentioned problem occurs several times, the guide
rail end caps must be removed and the locking pieces have to be adjusted
once again (see chapter “Fine adjustment of the locking device of
the front
rail profile”). Check the gliders, which move in the locking pieces, for
damage. If the gliders are damaged, the gliders on the left as well as on
the right side of the front rail profile must be replaced.
One side of the front rail profile does not move into the locking
device.
The guide rail end cap must be removed and the locking pieces
must be adjusted once again (see chapter “Fine adjustment of the locking
device of the front rail profile”). Check the gliders, which move in the
locking pieces, for damage. If the gliders are damaged, the gliders on the
left as well as on the right side of the front rail profile must be replaced,
and the locking pieces must be adjusted once again.
