OIL CHANGE
Drain the engine oil when the engine is warm.
Attention: Do not
drain oil when the engine is running!
Warm oil drains quickly
and complete.
1. Disconnect the spark plug wire and keep it away from the spark plug.
2. Place a suitable container next to the engine to catch the used oil.
3. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick (fig. 18A).
4. Remove the drain bolt (fig. 18B) and drain the oil into the container by slightly tipping the
engine toward the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Please dispose of used motor oil in a manner that is compatible with the
environment. We suggest you take used oil in a sealed container to your local
recycling center or service station for reclamation. Do not throw it in the trash or
pour it on the ground or down a drain.
5. Reinstall the drain bolt. With the engine in a level position, fill to the upper limit mark on the
dipstick with the recommended oil.
WARNING! Running the engine with a low oil level can cause engine damage.
6. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE: Do not change in any way the rated speed of the engine (carburetor side or
regulator side).
Your engine was adjusted in the factory and the non-respect of the homologation speed engine
could be dangerous for your safety and others safety. If the motor settings is changed in any way,
the warranty will be cancelled.
TRANSPORT
For manipulation with machine make following steps: Start the engine, grip the self-drive control
handle and drive the machine to required place. You can handle the machine also without self-
drive. Release the control lever and shift idle gear. Push the machine to required place.
Before transport of the machine by transport vehicle switch off the engine and wait till it is cold.
Disconnect the connector of spark plug. Transport snow thrower in horizontal position.. Machine
should be secured on the vehicle by strap belts. Always check important details in the manual if
the machine should be stored for long time.
STORAGE
For storage exceeding 14 days add fuel stabilizer to extend fuel storage life.
• If the machine will not be used for 30 days or longer, or if it is the end of the season, the
equipment needs to be stored properly. Follow storage instructions below to ensure top
performance from the machine for many more years.
• Store the machine in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized persons.
