1. Let the engine cool down.
2. Press the momentary-contact pushbutton (see 8/A).
3. Switch the device back on.
after a power outage, the device does not automatically re-start after voltage recovery.
THRUST PLATE ADJUSTMENT
Before the first operation or if the result of crushing is inefficient, the thrust plate must be set up
correctly. Conditioning of the new machines may require adjustment of thrust plate at shorter
intervals. You will recognize the time for adjusting the thrust plate when you see that crushed
material is only squashed and not separted properly.
1. Place the rotation direction switch to “indraft“ position.
2. Turn on the device.
3. Turn adjusting screw (9/A) clockwise until you hear friction. Thrust plate touches crushing
roller (12/B) and is seated correctly.
To avoid unnecessary wear, do not adjust thrust plate too much.
GENERAL WORK INSTRUCTION
•
For safety reasons, the device cannot work without properly placed debris bag.
•
Hold the branches till they are automatically pulled in.
•
Do not overload the machine, follow the roller work speed.
•
To prevent clogging, rotate flaccid garden waste and the thinner branches with large branches.
•
Before shredding, remove all remains of the roots of earth and stones.
•
Do not shred soft and wet material, such as kitchen waste, but compost it directly.
•
Keep a few dry branches until the end to be used as a cleaning device.
•
Switch the machine off after all material goes through. Otherwise the crushing roller may
become blocked.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Work which is not specified in this manual can berformed only by authorized service
center. Use only original spare parts. Wearing a pair of garden gloves (not supplied)
turn the blade. Before starting any maintenance work stop the shredder, disconnect
from the mains and wait until the blade has stopped rotating before proceeding.
GENERAL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WORK
•
Do not squirt the shredder by water.
•
The device, wheels and ventilation slots always keep clean. Clean only with a brush or a soft
cloth and never use any solvents or cleaners.
•
Before each use make sure that the device is not damaged, eventually protective equipment is
not damaged, and pay attention to the free and worn components.
•
Check the firm tightening of all nuts, bolts and screws.
•
Check covers and protective equipment for damage and correct position. Replace if necessary.
•
Store the device in a dry place and away from children.
•
Do not wrap the device in the non-breathable material as this could lead to moisture formation.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE
1. Press the knob and unplug the mains plug. Turn the knob until the housing cover is released
and lift the housing cover.
