This section provides speci

LUX36 and LUX42 models with approved power vent kits.
Follow instructions included with the PVLP-SLP or PVI-
SLP power vent kits.
See Table 4.1 below for approved Power Venting options
for LUX models.

Follow instructions to

mance and/or cause delayed ignition.
The power vent draft
fl
ow must be adjusted and set per
the speci
fi
cations in Table 4.2. Refer to the instructions
provided with the PVLP-SLP and PVI-SLP for more speci
fi
c
information.
Setting the PVLP-SLP Baf
fl
e Adjustment:
Note:
The air baf
fl
e may be adjusted after installation.
The baf
fl
e adjustment screw can be accessed by removing
the front cap cover.
• If the burner
fl
ames are short, active, and jumping, turn
the bolt counterclockwise (open). check the burner
fl
ames and adjust the baf
fl
e again as necessary until
the
fl
ames are stable, strong, and steady.
• If the burner
fl
ames are tall, lifting,
fl
oating, and ghost-
like, the baf
fl
e is too far open and MUST be closed.
Turn bolt clockwise.
• If the pilot continuously sparks and does not become
steady, the baf
fl
e may need to be opened. The require-
ments in Table 4.2. must still be met.
PVI-SLP:
The baf
fl
e adjustment is measured using the
holes on the indicator bar of the PVI-SLP baf
fl
e. This bar
raises as the baf
fl
e is opened and lowers as the baf
fl
e is
closed. Adjust the baf
fl
e by turning the screw located in the
motor enclosure. See Figure 4.12 and 4.13.
