Safety notices
ATTENTION
: For safety reasons please ensure that the spring coil fits accurately on
the spring retainers, otherwise the spring might slide out. This may cause severe per-
sonal injury or damage to property.
The spring coils must not come into contact with one another.
The load shall not exceed 15 kN!
End the tensioning process at the latest when the maximum span has been reached or
before the spring coils are next to each other.
As soon as the strut is removed, release the spring!
The strut must not be stored in a tensioned condition!
Make sure that the tools, support elements as well as the spring do not collide during
the operation in order to avoid damages. Overloading must be prevented under any
circumstances because otherwise there is a risk of severe injury.
Use the base support 4903-1 and the safety spring vice 4900-2A either only with the
4903/2 universal tensioning jaw and the universal clamping disc or with the tensioning
jaws of the HAZET System 4900.
Ergonomics
For improved ergonomics, the stop bolt lockings can be displaced to the opposite side according
to the respective type of installation. In doing so, make sure that the stop bolt lockings are securely
installed (loosen with s 12 wrench size).
