Move the universal clamping disc 4903-2 into the front
position and immediately connect the universal clamp-
ing disc with the safety spring vice 4900-2A with the
locking bar

(the locking pin of the locking bar must
be clicked into place) in order to prevent the universal
clamping disc from slipping.
Fit the universal tensioning jaw 4903-3

onto the safe-
ty spring Vice 4900-2 A. The locking pin must have
clicked into place. Fit the Safety Adapter
4
on the
Safety Spring Vice (drive) and mount it with the safety
chain onto the Base Support 4903-1.
ATTENTION
: If the universal tensioning jaw
4903-2 is not secured, there is a considerable
risk of injury when the base support is folded
down.
The HAZET universal spring vice is now ready for use.
Swivel the HAZET universal spring vice into a verti-
cal position by holding the universal clamping disc
4903-2 with one hand and by first loosening the
stop bolt lock

with the other hand and then swiv-
elling the device. Then loosen the stop bolt locking

and swivel the device completely into a vertical posi-
tion. Please make sure that the stop bolt locking

is
securely locked in.
(When swivelling from a vertical into a horizontal posi-
tion follow the instructions in the reverse order.)
ATTENTION
: Make sure you have a firm grip
and that the device is stable!
