Step 42
Locate the 1-1/2” x 6” cylinder pin & (2) 3/8” x 2” roll pins. Using the lifting strap, lift the rod end of the
cylinder up to the cylinder mount cross tube. Using a punch may be needed to align the holes in the cross tube
mount and the cylinder. Put pin through brackets and cylinder and secure with the roll pins.
Step 43
After connecting both ends of the cylinder, lift the upper scissors & the scissor arms up. Place a board under
the cylinder mount tube and set the the upper scissors back down resting it on the board. This will stabilize the
carriage assembly for the next step.
