Locate the 2 cross rod braces.  Attach the flat end to the cross cylinder mount tube as shown in fig. 37.1.  Attach 
the bent end to the opposite side transport supprt assembly.  Do this for both cross rod braces.  Attach the 2 
cross rod braces using a total of (4) 5/8” x 2” flange bolts & nuts.  Do not tighten these bolts at this time.

Next, the carriage arm spacer should be installed.  Place the carriage are spacer plate between the two lower 
carriage arms as shown in fig. 38.1.  Attach the plate to both carriage arms using (4) 3/8” x 1” flange bolts & 
flange nuts.  Do not tighten at this time.
