Connect the battery power wires.
Harris recommends a separate fuse or circuit
breaker for Battery A and Battery B.
Circuit breaker or fuse, if used, should be turned
off or removed prior to connection of power wires.
Power Runs
The appropriate gauge wire should be used for the distance of each power run.
Harris recommends the following wire specifications for power runs
(
a.
Ensure that all the fuses in the fuse panel are in place.
Ensure that the power breaker is off.
b.
Connect the battery power wires.
•
If the radio is shipped in a rack, use the drawings in the sales order
specific information.
•
If the radio is shipped loose, continue with this step.
