Series Default Local/Host Play Troubleshooting Screens
This section shows and defines the status screens displayed by N2600 Series devices.

Host Play Screen

Displayed when Decoder....
...and Encoder....
Notes
•
is set to view an Encoder stream on
the network
•
is set to HostPlay, or
•
does NOT have a valid input video
signal
Seeing this screen means that the Decoder CAN
communicate with the Encoder across the network.
It is a good way to troubleshoot network
communication between segments using only
Encoders and Decoders (without the need for source
video into an Encoder).
NOTE:
If you see can see the HostPlay screen but cannot see live video, this could mean that the Encoder and Decoder are not on the
same subnet.
