6.1.4.2
Halogen Lamp Shield Cleaning
In order to maintain sufficient oven brightness, thoroughly clean
the halogen lamp glass shield every 4 months.
1. Turn the rotisserie OFF before proceeding (push in main
ON/OFF red switch) and allow a period of time for the
rotisserie to reach a safe-to-touch temperature.
2. If applicable, allow the rotisserie and halogen lamp compartment
to cool down, reaching a safe-to-touch temperature.
3. Slide both light compartment tabs inwards to unlock the
pivoting door as shown in Figure 6-6.
4. Pivot the door panel downwards to open as shown in
Figure 6-7.
5. Thoroughly clean both sides of the glass halogen lamp shield
in accordance with the procedure outlined in section 6.3.1
(Guidelines for Cleaning Glass Surfaces).
AVOID TOUCHING THE HALOGEN LAMP.
AVOID OVERSPRAY ONTO THE HALOGEN LAMP IF
USING A CLEANING SPRAY.
6. When done, close the door panel and lock it into place by
sliding the compartment tabs outwards.
