5. Rotate the drain valve handle to “OPEN DRAIN” to remove the
grease left from the cooking cycle.
6. Rotate the drain valve handle to “CLOSE DRAIN”.
7. Spray degreaser on the drive shafts and plates of the drive
assembly; let it set for 10 minutes.
8. Clean the drive assembly inside the rotisserie while it is still
warm. Clean the metal surface in accordance with the
procedure outlined in section 6.3.2 (Guidelines for Cleaning
Metal Surfaces) and clean the porcelain enamel surfaces in
accordance with the procedures outlined in section 6.3.3
(Guidelines for Porcelain Enamel Surfaces).
9. Remove the drive unit from the rotisserie and set it aside.
10. Remove the drip plates from the bottom of the rotisserie as
shown in Figure 6-1 and place them in a large sink to clean.
Clean the drip pans in accordance with the procedure outlined
in section 6.3.2 (Guidelines for Cleaning Metal Surfaces).
11. Fill the bottom of the rotisserie with hot water using a bucket.
12. Clean all metal surfaces, both within and on the exterior of the
rotisserie in accordance with the procedure outlined in section
6.3.2 (Guidelines for Cleaning Metal Surfaces).
13. Clean the glass lamp shield in accordance with the procedure
outlined in section 6.3.1 (Guidelines for Cleaning Glass
Surfaces).
14. Ensure there is a bucket/reservoir under the drain to collect
dirty water.
15. Rotate the open/close valve to “OPEN DRAIN”, then rinse
away all degreaser using a soft cloth and clean hot water.
16. Wipe the interior cavity with a clean dry cloth.
17. Wipe both door panes using a wet cloth.
18. Using a damp cloth, carefully wipe down the control panel.
19. Re-install the cleaned drip plates into the floor of the rotisserie.

20. Gently bring the cleaned drive assembly back into the rotisserie
as outlined in 5.1.2 (Drive Assembly Installation).
