Cleaning the oven door
NOTICE
Risk of breakage and injury!
The oven door is equipped with heavy
glass panels that can break if handled
improperly.
■
Do not drop the oven door.
■
Make sure you do not hit the oven
door against anything.
■
Do not use the oven if the glass is
damaged. Please contact our Service
instead (see page EN-35).
■
If a glass pane breaks, keep children
away from it and carefully collect all
the pieces of glass.
You can unhinge the oven door in order
to be able to clean the oven door and
all areas of the cooking compartment.
Removing the oven door from its hinges
1. Open the oven door completely.
(x)
2. Fold the clips (x) on both sides all the way
forward. Use a screwdriver if necessary.
3. Close the door until you feel resistance
and the door stops closing.
4. With both hands, lightly lift and guide the
door forward out of its hinges.
5. Clean the oven door and glass using
warm water and a mild detergent or an
all-purpose cleaner.
Then dry everything off.
Putting the oven door back on its
hinges
1. Hold the oven door at an angle using both
hands.
2. Hook the hinges into the holes in the side
panels.
3. Open the oven door completely.
4. Fold the clips (x) on both sides all the way
back.
5. Close the door carefully. The door must
sit flush when closed. If the door does not
sit flush when closed or if there is a crack-
ing sound when closing it, the door is not
hung properly.
In such a case, correct the hinges and clips
until the door opens and closes smoothly.
