Troubleshooting table
The dishwashing results are not satisfactory
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
There are residues or
streaks on the dishes.
The rinse aid is incorrectly
dosed.
Adjust the dispensed dose (see
“Adding rinse aid” on page EN-13).
The dishwasher salt is
depleted.
Add dishwasher salt (see “Adding
dishwasher salt” on page EN-15).
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using the
end of a spoon or similar.
The dishes are not
completely clean.
There are food scraps which
are encrusted onto the
dishes.
Soak dirty dishes prior to washing
the dishes.
The dishes have not been
stacked optimally.
Stack the dishes in such a way
that all parts can be reached by
the water jets (see “Loading the
dishwasher” on page EN-16).
You have selected the
incorrect dishwashing
programme.
Select the correct dishwashing
programme (see “Programme
table” on page EN-20).
The dishwasher detergent is
incorrectly dosed.
Use the correct dosage of
dishwasher detergent (see
“Programme table” on page EN-20).
The water pressure is too
low.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The spraying arm can not
rotate unhindered.
Ensure that no dishes are
impeding the motion of the
spraying arm.
The nozzles on the spraying
arm are blocked/calcified.
Clean the nozzles (see “Checking
and cleaning the spraying arms”
on page EN-28).
