Safety
■
Seek the help of another person dur-
ing transport, installation and assem-
bly.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation loca-
tion, e.g. open doors and clear away
objects lying on the fl oor.
■
Do not use the open door as a step,
seat or for support. Make sure that
children and pets do not stand or sit
on the open door.
Risk of scalding!
The hot dishwashing water will cause
the dishes and the interior of the appli-
ance to heat up and hot steam is emit-
ted. Touching them can therefore cause
scalding.
■
Only hold the door by the handle
when opening the door. Maintain a
safe distance from the appliance in
order to avoid steam which may es-
cape.
■
Do not touch the dishes, cutlery or the
inside of the appliance immediate-
ly after the dishwashing programme
has fi nished.
Fire hazard!
Insuffi cient ventilation can cause fi res.
■
If your appliance has ventilation
grids, never cover them.
■
Do not set up the appliance on car-
pets or rugs if it has ventilation grids
in the lower section.
Risk of injury!
People may trip over the open appli-
ance door.
■
Note that the door should not be left
in the open position since this could
present a tripping hazard.
■
Close the door after every use.
■
Only leave the door slightly open to
cool down.
Risk of corrosion!
Detergents cause severe burns of the
skin and severe eye damage. They can
cause burns in the mouth and throat or
lead to suffocation.
■
Prevent children from coming into
contact with detergents.
■
Keep children away from the open
appliance. There may still be rem-
nants of detergents inside. The water
inside is not potable drinking water.
■
Consult a doctor immediately if the
child has been exposed to detergent
in their mouth.
If the automatic door opening (de-
pending on the model) displays a fault,
children may get injured.
■
Keep children away from the opening
area of the appliance door.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage to the appliance
itself.
■
Only use dishwasher salt which is suit-
able for dishwashers.
■
Only add dishwasher salt immediate-
ly before the next main dishwashing
cycle, as dishwasher salt which has
overfl owed can damage the seals
and fi lters of the appliance.
■

washer salt with a damp towel, as
otherwise the stainless steel surface
can be damaged.
