Power indicator lamps are provided on the
distribution box, on the rear of the control
unit (see figure 4-12) and on the feedback
sensor. The lamp on the distribution box
located next to the ON/OFF switch is
illuminated whenever power is supplied to
the control cable. A similar lamp on the
rear of the control unit is illuminated
whenever power reaches the display. The
LED on the feedback sensor will flash when
the sensor is receiving pulses from the
flowsensor. These LEDs help to ease tracing
of power supply faults and eliminates some
of the guesswork in troubleshooting. This
feature is referenced in the troubleshooting
guide.
If the system malfunctions make sure ALL
the following conditions are met:
q
All hose connections correct and tight
(Refer to appropriate system plumbing
diagram in Section
ΙΙ
).
q
All electrical connections correct and
tight (Refer to appropriate system
electrical diagram in Section
ΙΙ
).
q
Apparatus electrical system energized
with power supplied to pump panel and
Hale FoamMaster.
q
Hale FoamMaster power switch located
on the distribution box is in the ON
position.
q
Power indicator LEDs on the distribution
box and control unit are illuminated.
Once all the above conditions are met
proceed to the system troubleshooting
section to determine cause of malfunction.
