Do not mount a flowsensor directly
after an elbow or valve.
Valves create
severe turbulence when they are
“gated”.
With the use of Hale foam discharge
multiplexing display units, 2 to 8 flowsensors
and pressure transducers may be
monitored simultaneously. The pressure
transducers enable replacement of line
gauges on foam capable discharge
outlets. A single injection point that will
supply foam concentrate to all foam
capable discharge outlets is required as
shown in figure 2-10. Manifolds are
available from Hale Products Inc. (Mini
manifold; Hale P/N 178-0320-02-0 or Maxi
manifold; Hale P/N 178-0420-00-0) for this
