: Installation
½ inch (13 mm) inside diameter and be
rated at 500 PSI (34 BAR) working pressure
(Aeroquip 2580-10 or equal).
BYPASS HOSE CONNECTION
A bypass port is provided on the discharge
side of the Hale ADT or a bypass valve is
mounted on the discharge of the foam
pump when the ADT option is not installed.
The bypass handle shall be accessible by
the pump operator during normal
operations.
The bypass valve is a 3-way directional
valve that selects where the output of the
foam pump will go. Determine which port is
the INJECT port (see figure 2-19) and which
port is the BYPASS port. The INJECT port is
identified on the bypass valve placard.
Look at the ports as you move the handle,
the flow should go from the center port to
