The detasseling system is a constantly monitored and a continuously adjusted system. The cab mounted
control system receives data from photo light sensors to determine the detasseling height.
In the following section, the components of the detasseling system will be explained. Please read the en-
tire section before operating the STS Combo option.

1. Program the Hagie Tasseltrol®/LS System control box.
2. Test the photo light sensors.

NOTE:
Operating the system below the recommended the 2500 engine RPM will not provide the sys-
tem with adequate hydraulic oil flow and may cause degraded or poor performance.
3. Start engine.
4. Turn on the WORK MODE switch.
5. Turn on desired detasseling head motors.
6. Activate the MAIN CONTROL switch on the hydrostatic lever.
7. Shut the system down if there is a loss of hydraulic pressure or low
oil warning. Failure to do so will result in system damage and void
the warranty.
