Upgrading the BootWare and application files by using TFTP or FTP through an Ethernet port
NOTE:
•
The BootWare program is upgraded together with the application program. The system automatically
upgrades the BootWare program when you upgrade the application program.
•
Before upgrading the software of your access controller, check the current BootWare version and
application program version to make sure that the correct file is used for the upgrade. For the association
between the host application program version and BootWare version, see the hardware and software
compatibility matrix in
Release Notes.

Upon access controller power-on or reboot, the console terminal connected with the access controller first
displays the following information:
