Logging in to the blade server operating system
Local login
This section describes the specific steps of local login. When performing BIOS, HDM, FIST, RAID,
operating system accessing, and other operations and configurations on the server, you may need to
connect the mouse, keyboard, and display terminal to complete local login of the server.
The server provides two DB15 VGA connectors for connecting the display terminal.
•
The front panel provides one VGA connector.
•
The rear panel provides one VGA connector.
The server does not provide the standard PS2 mouse and keyboard connectors. You can connect
the mouse and keyboard through the USB connectors on the front and rear panels. Two connection
methods can be adopted according to different connector types of the mouse and keyboard:
•
Connect the USB mouse and keyboard directly using the connection method the same as that
for the general USB cable.
•
Connect the PS2 mouse and keyboard through the USB to PS2 cable.
Procedure
