Parameter requirements: Set “Bits per second” to 9600, “Data bits” to 8, “Parity” to
“none”, “Stop bits” to 1 and “Flow control” to “none”. Select VT100 as terminal
emulation. The specific procedure is as follows:
1) Select
[Start/Programs/Accessories/Communications/HyperTerminal] to enter the
HyperTerminal window, where click the
icon to establish a new connection.
The connection description interface appears, as shown below.

2) Type in the name of the new connection in the connection description interface
and click <OK>. The system pops up the following interface. Select the serial port
to be used from [Connect using].
