MAIN MENU > AUTO-DETECT HARD DISKS
The layout of this submenu is the same as with the STANDARD CMOS SETUP. If you
are having trouble setting your system’s date, time, FDD, HDD type.. etc, just select
Auto-Detect Hard Disks
in main menu.
4.2.9 MAIN MENU > CHANGE
SUPERVISOR PASSWORD
Select the Supervisor from the Security
section of the AMIBIOS Setup main menu.
Enter the password and press <Enter>. The
screen will not display the characters
entered. After the new password is
entered, retype the new password as
prompted and press <Enter>.
If the password confirmation is incorrect, an error message appears. If the new
password is entered without error, press <Esc>. The password is stored in NVRAM
after AMIBIOS completes its cycle. Next time when booting the system, a password
prompt will appears if the password function is enabled.
