Chamber Description Chart
There are six standard mixing chambers available from GUSMER which
can be used interchangeably in the
Model D Spray Gun.
Below is a general
description of the uses and design capabilities of the various size chambers.
Actual pattern sizes and outputs achieved will depend on such variables as
material viscosity, hose length, condition of equipment, environment,
working pressure, etc.
46-800
Designed for operation in confined areas and for spraying 3/8 to
1/2 in. (.7 to 1.3 cm) thicknesses. The gun may be held within 4
in. (10.2 cm) of the target without blowing away the freshly
applied foam. At 4 in. (10.2 cm ) distance from the target, the
pattern diameter is approximately 4 in.. Output is approximately
2 to 3-1/4 pounds (.9 to 1.5 kg/m).
46-810
For the same uses as the 46-800 above, the 46-810 has an
increased output of approximately 3 to 4-1/2 pounds (1.4 to 2.0
kg/m).
55-776
Designed for stud areas of trucks and small to medium sized wall
applications. The pattern size at 18 to 20 in. (45.7 to 50.8 cm)
from target is about 8 in. (20.3 em). Output is approximately 6
to 8 pounds (2.7 to 3.6 kg/m).
62
Widely used for large applications such as large wall surfaces,
tanks, roofs, etc. Pattern diameter is about 9 in. (22.9 cm) when
gun is held 18 to 20 in. (45.7 to 50.8 cm) from target. Output
range is about 7 to 10 pounds (3.2 to 4.5 kg/m).
70
Also for large area applications. The pattern diameter at 18 to
20 in. (45.7 to 50.8 cm) from the target is about 10 in. (25.4
cm). Output for the 70 is approximately 9 to 12 pounds (4.1 to
5.4 kg/m).
78-851
For very large area applications. The pattern developed at 24 in.
(60.9 cm) is about 14 in. (35.6 cm) in diameter and output range
is 13-1/2 to 16-1/2 pounds (6.1 to 7.5 kg/m).
