CONNECT AIR

ADJUST VALVING ROD ADJUSTMENT SCREW-adjust the V/R
adjustment screw fully in (clockwise) to establish a point of reference
and then adjust out (counterclockwise) approximately eleven (11)
turns.
13.
ADJUST FELT WIPER AND SERVICE FELT WITH GUN
CLEANER.
14.
EXERCISE VALVING ROD-determine that the manual valves are
closed. Actuate the trigger several times and observe that the valving
rod moves freely.
15.
OPEN BOTH MANUAL VALVES AND CHECK GUN BLOCK
FOR CHEMICAL WEEPAGE-if no leakage is present, the gun is now
ready for test spray.
Note: Too much air may
distort the spray pattern and
insufficient air will not
properly clean the end of the
valving rod.
16.
ADJUST AIR SUPPLY TO AIR CAP. Turn air needle valve
counterclockwise until a positive flow of air is discharged from the air
cap.
