High pressure indicates a restriction or total blockage of flow of the
component on the high pressure side. Therefore, proceed by checking the
following on that side:
1.
Check the condition of the injection slot.
2.
Check the condition of the gun screen (if on the isocyanate side).
3.
Check the condition of the check valve.
Clean or replace any of the above components as required.
Poor Pattern Development
A poor pattern will result from any of the following:
1.
Dirt or material buildup on the air cap or chamber tip.
2.
Improper hose heat temperature.
3.
Improper valving rod adjustment.
4.
Unbalanced or insufficient operating pressures.
These conditions can all be rectified by reference to the Service and
Maintenance Procedures.
