NADVERTENT ACTUATION OF THE TRIGGER WITH THE SPRING RETAINER
CASE REMOVED FROM THE GUN COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY

To remove the valving rod,
cover the open end of the air
cylinder with your hand
protected by a cloth, and trigger
the gun. This is done as a
precautionary measure when
removing the valving rod in
order to break the rapid
movement of the rod when it is
withdrawn from the cylinder.

REMOVE GUN FROM THE
COUPLING BLOCK-
disconnect the air supply from
the gun.
Use the 5/16 spintite to remove
the coupling block mounting
screw. Separate the gun from
the coupling block and flush
both material ports on the face
of the coupling block to prevent
material buildup.

REMOVE GUN BLOCK-use
the 5/16 spintite to remove the
gun block from the frame.

REMOVE FELT WIPER ASSEMBLY-use the 5/16 x 3/8 open end
wrench to remove the felt wiper assembly from the rear of the gun
block and place it in gun cleaner.
