Preparation
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Insert a cassette with sufficient playing time which is not pro-
tected against over-recording.

Explanations
1. Starting programming
v
The recorder is ready for data entries.
The programme position (TV station) 1,
BBC I in the example, is displayed.
As long as this entry position is flashing,
you can “overwrite” the selected data.
If all the TIMERs are full, the message
»
TIMER FULL
« briefly appears.
If the recorder does not accept the
data, for example, if the stop time
equals the start time, the first entry
place of the data to be corrected
flashes again.

It is not possible to programme recordings in long-play
mode, or those from a satellite receiver.
2. Selecting a programme

59, 60, HI, S1, A2 oder A1.

the VPS/PDC signal.
The stop time is the start time + 1 hour,
