16.Remove inlet (6) .
NOTE:
Notice the position of the inlet to ensure correct
orientation of this part for reassembly.

Medium Pressure Models ONLY: On the inlet
side, remove bolts (4), inlet (6) and shim (36)

Do not lose the shim (36). You will need
it for reassembly.
If you are only replacing the Inlet and/or Inlet Seals,
stop disassembly instructions here.
Inlet Kits: 24R067, 24R068, 24R074, 24R075, 24R677,
and 24R678 are available from Graco. Inlet reassem-
bly instructions begin with Step 9 page 23.
17. If you are not replacing these parts, set them aside
for use for reassembly.
18. Lift up spool (2) to remove it from base (1) (F

19. Lay spool (2) on it’s side on a clean, sturdy work sur-
face.
20.Remove Inlet Side Bearings.
NOTE:
Separate instructions are provided for Medium
Pressure Hose Reels and Low Pressure Hose Reels
(depending on your hose reel model). Medium Pressure
Hose Reel instructions begin below, Low Pressure
instructions begin on page 17.

Removal

Use a snap ring pliers to remove snap ring (41)

retainer (42) nut. Once it is loose you can use
your hand to unscrew and remove it (F

when using the snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring
(41). Damage to this surface could result in fluid leak-
age. Protect the surface by wrapping it with black elec-
tric tape.
