In this direction, commands are transmitted only when required (e. g. when the ref
-
erence transponder is activated). To overcome the frequent cyclical data output of
the antenna, the 3964R of the antenna has a lower priority (see Figure 37).

10.7 Procedure „transparent“
For the interconnection antenna <–> PLC a transparent protocol may be used. The
following settings are necessary for the data transmission:
1 start bit, 8 data bit, even parity, 1 stop bit, baud rate 9600 Baud (default) or
19200 Baud.
10.7.1 Data direction antenna -> PLC
In this direction, antenna data is transmitted cyclically. The duration is configurable,
it should take an integer part, or multiple thereof, of the transponder code transmis
-
sion time. The minimum cycle duration depends upon the telegram length, therefore
on the baud rate and the selected telegram content.
