Entering Manufacturers
Defines a manufacturer which is assigned to a block type.
1. Start BT PRO Manager.
2. Click the
Definitions
button.
The
Definitions
menu appears in the
display selection
.
3. Select
Manufacturer
from the list.
The fields for defining the manufacturer are displayed in the
detail display area
.
4. Click the
+
button.
The fields are ready for input.
5. Define the manufacturer parameters.
(Yellow fields must be filled in. Permissible entries: A to Z, a to z
and 0 to 9.)
6. Click the
button.
The manufacturer is stored.
Editing Manufacturers
A manufacturer has been entered.
1. Start BT PRO Manager.
2. Click the
Definitions
button.
The
Definitions
menu appears in the
display selection
.
3. Select
Manufacturer
from the list.
Previously entered
manufacturers
appear in the
display selection
.
4. Click the manufacturer you want to edit.
The fields for defining the manufacturer are displayed in the
detail display area
.
5. Click the
button.
The fields are ready for input.
6. Change the desired manufacturer parameters.
(permissible entries: A to Z, a to z and 0 to 9.)
7. Click the
button.
The manufacturer is edited.
Deleting Manufacturers
A manufacturer has been entered.
The manufacturer is not assigned to any block type.
1. Start BT PRO Manager.
2. Click the
Definitions
button.
The
Definitions
menu appears in the
display selection
.
3. Select
Manufacturer
from the list.
Previously entered manufacturers appear in the
display selec-
tion
.
4. Click the manufacturer you want to delete.
The fields for defining the manufacturer are displayed in the
detail display area
.
5. Click the
–
button.
A security prompt is displayed.
6. Acknowledge the security prompt.
The manufacturer is deleted.
Entering a Block Type
Defines a block type which is assigned to batteries.
A block technology has been entered

Block Type
from the list.
The fields for defining the block type are displayed in the
detail
display area

4. Click the

button.
The fields are ready for input.
5. Define the block type parameters. Enter the previously defined
block technology and the manufacturer.
Note
The values entered here are mandatory because they’re
used for measurements. They’re block-specific.
Enter all values, i.e. limit values, nominal values etc.
Note
Some block-specific values are used for batteries as well
(
23) and linked to other values.
(Yellow fields must be filled in. Permissible entries: A to Z, a to z
and 0 to 9.)
6. Click the
button.
The block type is stored.
Editing a Block Type
A block type has been entered.
A block technology has been entered.
A manufacturer has been entered.
