Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter Protection:
The unit is provided with a ground fault
circuit interrupter (GFCI) built into the power supply cord. This device provides
additional protection from the risk of electric shock. Should replacement of the
plug or cord become necessary, use only identical replacement parts that include
GFCI protection.
Extension Cords:
Use only 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong grounding-
type plugs and 3-pole cord connectors that accept the plug from the product
and are properly rated for power draw. Do not use damaged extension cords.
Examine extension cord before using and replace if damaged. Always disconnect
the extension cord from the receptacle before disconnecting the product from the
extension cord.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electrocution keep all connections dry and off
the ground. Do not touch plug with wet hand.
WARNING:
The cords, wires, and/or cables supplied with this product may
contain chemicals, including lead or lead compounds, known to the State of
California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Always
wash hands after using.

Overview
Buildup of hard water deposits - scale (calcium and mineral deposits), rust, etc.
can seriously reduce the efficiency of heat exchange equipment and can lead to
higher operating costs and expensive repairs, or even the replacement of entire
units. Equipment should be cleaned (descaled) to return it to optimal operational
condition. The GDS-15-PH provide the capability to safely circulate Goodway’s
ScaleBreak® Descaling Solution through heat exchangers or into a bath-type vessel.
Additionally, the GDS-15-PH is engineered to automatically monitor and maintain
the pH level of the descaling solution, injecting concentrated ScaleBreak® from
a remote reservoir (e.g. a bucket or drum) when the solution begins to lose it’s
potency as scale and other deposits are dissolved. This allows for the fastest
cleaning by keeping the pH at the optimal level.
The GDS-15-PH will also alert you if the chemical pump has not been activated for
a period of one hour – meaning the pH of the ScaleBreak® Descaling Solution has
been constant and that most of the scale has probably been dissolved.
