Hydraulic supply
A hydraulic supply must be assured in order to work with the GOTIS
test tool.
There are two ways of doing this:

Supply via an external hydraulic unit
·
Supply via the on-board hydraulics

Hydraulic supply via the on-board hydraulics
The GOTIS test tool is attached to the hydraulics system on
the vehicle. All the necessary work steps can be activated using
the operating controls on the control unit for the GOTIS test tool.

1.
Open the cover of the hydraulic oil filling nozzle (R) and
unscrew the protective threaded joint on the mini-measuring
screw connection for measuring point MP-P1 (P).
2.
Lay the control unit for the hydraulic supply down on to the high
girder of the pick-up device and arrange the hydraulic hoses in
the direction of the hydraulic oil tank.
3.
Remove the protective threaded joint on the return hose (R)
and screw the screw cap onto the filling nozzle of the tank.
Fasten the quick-lock coupling on the return hoses
4.
Remove the protective threaded joint on the infeed hose (P)
and screw the threaded elbow joint onto measuring point
MP-P1.
5.
Keep any loose protective threaded joints and the covers in
a clean and safe place, so that later, no contamination will be
able to get into the hydraulic circuit.
