Electrical check of GOTIS
Carry out the electrical check of GOTIS annually, in accordance with
the check list below. The electrical check ensures that the
components used in GOTIS are functioning properly.
The mA signals check must always be carried out using a se-
ries-clamped multimeter.
Measurements taken between the vehicle ground and the mA
output will cause damage to the measuring amplifier.
The checks described on the following pages also serve as the main-
tenance checklists. We recommend that you copy these pages each
time you carry out maintenance.
The AST ignition must be on for the electrical check of GOTIS.
In order to be able to carry out the following electrical tests on GOTIS
correctly and without errors, the relevant electrical systems must be
observed.
