Intended Use

Mains-powered portable pressure washer for general, medium duty cleaning tasks on paths, patios,

buildings, vehicles and other suitable surfaces, using a jet of cold, pressurised water.

Unpacking Your Tool

•  Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and functions.
•  Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged,

have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool.

Before Use

IMPORTANT: Do not connect the pressure washer to the water or electrical supply until fully assembled

and ready for use.

Assembly

1.  Remove all packaging materials from the product
2.  Fit the Handle (17) as shown in Image A
3.  Connect the Lance Connector (23) to Lance Connector (19) as shown in Image B
4.  Carefully cut and remove the cable tie securing the hose on the High Pressure Hose Reel (8) (if fitted)
5.  Unwind some of the high pressure hose using the Hose Reel Handle (1)
6.  Attach the High Pressure Hose Connector (6) to the Quick Connector Adapter (29) as shown in image C.

Screw the fittings together until tight

7.  Connect the Quick Connector Adapter to the Lance High Pressure Hose Quick Connector (20)
WARNING: If the high pressure hose sustains damage, it can burst and cause injury.  A damaged hose

must be replaced, not repaired. Inspect regularly and prevent the hose coming into contact with sharp

objects or rough surfaces.

Note: After use and depressurising, store the lance in the Lance Bracket (10).
Note: To move the pressure washer, use the Handle Grip (11) and built-in wheels. The handle has two

height positions. Do not lift the pressure washer with the Handle Grip. The pressure washer features foot-

operated Wheel Brakes (14). To lock the wheels, push down on the Wheel Brakes until it clicks in the locked

position and lift up with the tip of your shoe to put in the unlocked position. See image E

Connecting to water supply

WARNING: When connecting a pressure washer to a normal house water supply it is important a non-

return valve is fitted to the hose (also called a backflow preventer) to ensure the pressure washer cannot

contaminate your water supply if there is a backflow.
1.  Remove the plastic cap from the Water Inlet Connector (15)
2.  Check the filter inside the Water Inlet Connector is clear of debris or any other material. Over time debris

may build up and the filter will need to be checked regularly and any debris build-up removed

3.  Fit the Quick Connector (18) to the Water Inlet Connector and tighten by hand only
4.  Connect a hose from the water supply to the fitted Quick Connector
Notes:
•  The specification lists suitable water inlet pressures.  A normal UK household water supply can range

from 1-8Bar pressure but 2-5Bar is more typical.  Do not exceed the maximum water pressure stated

in the specification

•  If you do not know or are unable to measure the water pressure, keep the pressure low to prevent

damage to the pressure washer. Aim to set the pressure at mid-point between the lowest and highest

water pressure accepted by the pressure washer. If preferred, a third-party water pressure gauge is

available that connects directly to the tap. This will allow the water pressure to be set more accurately

•  Do not connect to a hot or warm water supply. This will prevent the pump from  cooling and may damage

the seals over time

•  It is important that a good water connection is maintained while operating a pressure washer, as the

pump will be damaged if run without water.  Make sure the connections are secure before switching on

the pressure washer

•  Always check that all parts and attachments are secure, and that hoses are not kinked or obstructed

Connecting to other water sources

Note: These instructions assume the pressure washer has already be assembled as per ‘Connecting to a

water supply’.
Note:  A backflow preventer (also called a non-return valve) is not required when connecting to other water

sources.
The pump featured in this pressure washer features a self-priming feature that allows use of other water

sources typically a water butt or other container of captured rain water or similar.
•  Ensure the water supply is clean and filtered before entering the pressure washer. Ensure there is no

sediment

•  The maximum pumping height is 0.5m (the distance from the height of the surface on which the pressure

washer is resting, to the top surface of the water below where the hose enters)

•  For water butts, where the output is at the bottom, gravity will provide some pressure to assist the

pressure washer

•  The hose to the water supply should not exceed 3m in length and the diameter should not be less than

19mm or ¾

"

1.  Disconnect the lance by pulling back the collar on the Quick Connector Adaptor (29) that is fitted to the

High Pressure Hose Connector (6)

2.  Connect a hose to your water source
3.  Connect the hose to the Quick Connector (18) that is fitted to the Water Inlet Connector (15)
4.  Press the On/Off Switch (5) to switch on the pressure washer
5.  Wait until the water can be seen coming out of the High Pressure Hose Connector (6)
6.  Re-attach the lance
Note: Always ensure the Quick Connector (18) is used when using the self-priming feature.

 Important mains safety information

WARNING: Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable

for outdoor use, and the connection has to be kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended that this is

accomplished by means of a cord reel which keeps the socket at least 60mm above the ground.
•  Always use a residual current device (RCD) when connecting a pressure washer to the mains with a

tripping current no more than 30mA and a delay in operating of no more than 30ms

•  Make sure any mains connection points are out of reach of the pressure washer water spray, or any

water that may collect on a surface around where you are spraying

•  This product must be earthed and any extension cables used must have an earth connection
