Oscillation normale de la pression sanguine
La valeur de la pression sanguine dépend de nombreux facteurs: pratique
d’une activité physique, excitation, stress, consommation de tabac,
la position du corps, ce que le sujet mage et boit ainsi que de nombreuses
autres activités ou facteurs (dont la mesure de la pression). Ainsi, il est très
rare d’obtenir la même valeur à chaque prise de mesure.
La pression sanguine varie en continue, de jour comme de nuit. La pression
atteint généralement sa valeur maximale le matin tandis qu’elle atteint
sa valeur minimale à minuit. En règle générale, la pression commence
à augmenter vers 3 heures du matin et atteint la valeur maximale dans
la journée, lorsque la plupart des personnes sont éveillés et actives.
Compte tenu des indications fournies ci-dessous, il est recommandé
de mesurer sa pression tous les jours à la même heure.
Des prises de mesure trop fréquentes risquent d’avoir des conséquences sur
la circulation du sang. Il convient de se détendre pendant une courte période
(au minimum 1 - 1,5 minutes) entre chaque mesure de sorte à permettre au
sang de recirculer dans le bras. Il est extrêmement rare d’obtenir les mêmes
valeurs à chaque prise de mesure.
