Introduction

Purpose

This manual provides instructions for installing the FlexPay

 Connect v2 [which includes a 

Back Room Communication Module (BRCM)2.x and a Dispenser Communication Module 
(DCM)2.x], or upgrading an existing Distribution Box (D-Box) to a BRCM2.x.

Legacy

®

 two-wire data rates are not affected. This solution provides a second data channel for 

Applause

 Media System, EMV

®

, or Insite360

 over the same physical wiring.

The BRCM2.x communicates with the dispenser DCM2.x to deliver high-speed data. This 

high-speed connection can be used for Applause

 

Media System or the future Transmission 

Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)-based EMV payment protocol and other 
dispenser applications that require high-speed connectivity.

Intended Users

This manual is intended for Gilbarco

®

-trained and certified Authorized Service Contractors

(ASCs).
