Configuring user accounts
The main view for user administration gives an overview of the already existing user
accounts and their properties:

or double-click on the appropriate line to edit a user account.
The following sections describe the setting options in the individual tabs for user
account administration.
User data
All core data for a user account including the login ID can be changed retrospectively
here. The language settings are used both for the user interface and also for eMails from
the system to the user. If the access data (login ID/password) is changed, the user receives
an eMail message with the amended access data.
Fax Preferences.
These settings apply for the sending of Software Fax and Software Fax 2 Mail (see
) using the Gigaset pro fax driver. If there is nothing specified
for the user here, the system uses Gigaset pro FAX as the sender name and no sender
number.
Two options are available to track sent faxes:
u
Transmission report: A page with the applicable transmission report is inserted into
the PDF file which is created from a sent fax.
u
Transmission result by eMail: The report and the faxed document are sent to the eMail
address of the user who sent the document.
If an option is active, it will still be carried out, even if a fax transmission fails.
Important
The length of the sender name is restricted to 20 characters. Longer entries made in
an earlier version of Gigaset pro will be shortened automatically and must be
changed accordingly.
