In North America, the dish will be pointed towards the South,
Southeast or Southwest. The satellite is located south of Texas
and Mexico, directly over the equator. If you live in Miami, you
must have a clear line of sight to the Southwest; if you live in San
Francisco, you must have a clear line to the Southeast.

Where Is The Satellite?
Glorystar Satellite Systems receive channels from Galaxy 19 KU at
orbital position 97W. This is not the compass reading! Galaxy 19 is
near the same location as the DirecTV main satellite at 101W.
