The easiest method to aim the satellite dish is to temporarily place
the satellite receiver connected to a small television near the satellite
dish. This method allows the installer to see the signal changes that
occur with small dish movements. It is extremely difficult to install
the satellite system if the TV is inside the home and out of the view of
the installer. Attempting to communicate the signal readings with a
second person viewing the TV can complicate the aiming process!
