How to Remove the Platform
1 Remove the foot switch cover plate from the
platform.
2 Remove the foot switch guard mounting
fasteners from the platform.
3 Remove the footswitch and guard through the
back of the platform through the access hole
and set it aside.
4 Remove the platform control box mounting
fasteners. Then lower the control box and set it
aside.
If your machine is equipped with
an airline to platform option, the
airline must be disconnected from
the platform before removal.
5 Raise the primary boom slightly and place
blocks under the platform. Then lower the
primary boom until the platform is resting on the
blocks just enough to support the platform.
Do not rest the entire weight of the
boom on the blocks.
6 Remove the platform mounting fasteners and
remove the platform from the machine.
Crushing hazard. The platform
may become unstable and fall if it
is not properly supported.
