All models:
2 Disconnect the electrical connectors from the
coils of the NFPE controller (NFPE) located on
the drive pump.
3 Tag,disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses
from the pump.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to squirt
or spray.
4 Support the pump with a suitable lifting device.
5 Remove the drive pump mounting bolts.
Carefully remove the pump.
How to Prime the Pump
1 Connect a 0 to 6000 psi / 0 to 414 bar pressure
gauge to the test port on the drive pump.
2 Gasoline/LPG models: Disconnect the ignition
coil wire from the center of the ignition coil.
Diesel models: Hold the manual fuel shutoff
lever clockwise to the closed position.
3 Crank the engine with the starter motor for 15
seconds, wait 15 seconds, then crank the
engine an additional 15 seconds or until the
pressure reaches 320 psi / 22 bar.
