WK3 tracks regardless of the current play mode.
STYLE/REALTIME MODE
Style and Real T
ime modes have a
Performance
in common. Styles can play up to 8 tracks simul-
taneously while Real T
ime up to 3. Both modes
have identical Performance editing tasks.
Style Performances are always divided into two
parts: the first 5 tracks are dedicated to the auto-
accompaniment and engaged by the sequencer,
the remaining 3 are assigned to the keyboard
(Upper 1, Upper 2, Lower) and play in real time.

undertand the structure of the instrument.
OPERATING MODES
WK3 is always set to a specific mode (Style/Real

Song modes, Edit mode, etc.). Selecting a mode
sets the instrument to operate in a way defined
by the parameters of the selected mode.
STYLE/REALTIME, SONG/STYLE & SONG
WK3 offers three dif
ferent playing modes:
Style/RealTime
mode:
to
play with the
arrangements or use WK3 as a conventional
keyboard. WK3 powers up in this mode eve-
ry time it is turned on. Select a PERFORM-
ANCE or a STYLE to activate Style/RealTime
if the instrument is not currently set to this
mode.
Song/Style mode:
to
record keyboard
sounds with accompaniments and create 8
track Songs to use as backings. Select a
SONG/STYLE from the Style / Song Groups
to set this mode.
Song mode:
to play or record Songs.
Press REAL SONG in the Style / Song
Groups then select a Song in order to acti-
vate this mode.
