5. Carry out any water connections if required (automatic filling, topping up of oil, radiator connection, etc. .....).
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
EVERY OPERATION OF AN ELECTRICAL NATURE MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY PERSONNEL WITH
THE NECESSARY PREREQUISITES AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW.
1. Carry out the power connection of the generator-set control board observing the indicated cross-sections.
THE CROSS SECTION OF THE CABLE MUST BE SUITABLE AND IN ANY CASE IN COMPLIANCE
WITH INDICATIONS THAT CAN BE FOUND IN STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS CEI 64-8.
2. Connect the generator set wiring terminal boards with the corresponding terminal boards situated on the electric control
board. Respect the indications in the enclosed wiring diagram, the type of cable and sections that have already been
defined. In the presence of screened cables, the auxiliary cables must be separated from the power cables to avoid
disturbance of transmitted signals.
3. Connect the output power line from the ENEL cabin to the corresponding input in the power circuit of the electric
panel.
OBSERVE THE CYCLIC SENSE OF THE NETWORK AND THE GENERATOR PHASES SO THAT THEY
CORRESPOND.
4. Connect any panel auxiliary external supply lines.
5. To avoid interference with auxiliary signals, separate the power line from the auxiliary connection lines;
THE USER MUST INSERT AN AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF DEVICE FOR THE SUPPLY LINE..
6. Connect the user output of the electric control board power circuit to the user’s plant.
7. Earth the plant ( see chapter 8 ).
IT IS MANDATORY TO CHECK THAT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE EARTHING SYSTEM ARE IN
COMPLIANCE WITH RELATIVE REGULATIONS IN FORCE IN THE COUNTRY OF INSTALLATION.

8. Whenever it has been necessary to remove any protective device in order to carry out the above-mentioned operations,
they must be replaced.
IF ANY ANOMALY WHATSOEVER IS NOTICED, INSTALLATION OPERATIONS MUST BE
SUSPENDED AND THE SUPPLYING COMPANY INFORMED OF THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED.
INSTALLATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER IN FULL OBSERVANCE OF
THE LAWS AND REGULATIONS IN FORCE.
9. The qualified technician/engineer may at this point use the electric control board to test the machine, simulating the
various operating situations.
