Action

Step

Connect the packing pump to the mobile phase bottom valve (MPB).

Open the bottom slurry valve.

Close the hydraulic chamber inlet and outlets.

Close the mobile phase top valve (MPT).

Start the pump at a rate of 100%. The unpacking buffer will flush the inside
of the column and remove residual slurry. Continue pumping until the outlet
is free from slurry.

Connect the mobile phase top valve (MPT) to the packing pump.

Close the mobile phase bottom valve (MPB).

Start the pump at a rate of 100%. This will flush the top bed support and
remove residual media.

Stop pumping when the column is clean.
